November 2003- no changeSeptember meeting - we open the cash flood gates and buy Marks & Spencer and Planit also special purchase chosen by our competition winner - Veronica - she has chosen Zytronic. August 2003 - most members away on hols. No buying or selling decisions July 2003 - members present at this meeting decided our large cash balance should be spent. As usual a compromise was reached and we only spent half our cash pile. We invested for the first time in Rank Organisation, Tesco and Smith & Nephew, and added to our holding in Scottish & Southern. June 2003 - no change May 2003 - our huge cash balance persuaded us to take the plunge and start investing again. United Utilities for a safe haven, and Genus for a bit of excitement. We decided to take a profit by selling Alexandra. April 2003 - no change March 2003 - no change February 2003 - buy some more Morrisons January 2003 - no change December 2002 members voted to increase our holding in Scottish & Southern and to try a few HIT Entertainment At our November 2002 meeting the urge to trade was so great that we pushed the boat out and doubled our holding in Jardine Lloyd Thompson and bought some shares in Alexandra. |
